Health Insurance
Expat health insurance is designed to cover any eligible medical costs of people living and working abroad. It is designed to give you and your family the best health care possible, no matter where you are based in the world.
Anderson Health has over 25 years of experience in the expat health insurance market. We work closely with our clients to find the best solutions to fit their individual needs.
Expat health insurance coverage is generally broken down into three geographical areas; Europe, worldwide and worldwide including the USA.
There is a plethora of different packages available:
- From basic in-patient only plans to more comprehensive types
of cover including:
– psychiatric treatment
– dental and optical treatment
– private GP’s
– vaccinations
- Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation costs are included in some plans or available as an optional extra on other packages.
It is now possible to obtain cover for certain pre-existing or on-going medical conditions, although any premium quoted would be loaded to reflect this.
It is also possible to arrange International Life Cover for those living and working abroad. Premium payments can be made monthly, quarterly or annually in GB pounds, Euros or US Dollars. It is possible to reduce costs by opting for an excess or deductible meaning that the member would be responsible for the first small part of a claim.
Most international health insurers have direct billing arrangements with the various hospitals around the world they deal with. Anderson Health provides a free claims handling service in the event of a disputed on a un-paid claim.
